Testimonial #2 - Creme Eye Shadows

For my next tester I asked my friend Lauren of Elle Elyse Handbags & Accessories to give BeautiControl's Creme Eye Shadows a try. She posted her experience on her blog last month, so I'm a little slow passing this along to the rest of you.

As a admitted beauty product junkie, I am willing to give any product a try. Kate ,a Beauti Control consultant in my Northland Woman’s Network, asked us to try out some new product. I chose the cream eye shadows as I have never used them before and my sister swears by them, I thought I should give it a go. I applied the Beauti Control Cream Eye Shadow Rich Gold. Keep reading to see what I thought about it.

Before

Yes, this is me with out eye make up and mascara (YIKES!!) Here we go……
I must admit, the product is packaged beautifully and looks & feels amazing but I have know idea how to apply this cream. I am a artist when it comes to a brush and mineral make up. So this is a HUGE challenge for me. After washing my eyes off 4 times & 1 YouTube tutorial this is what I was able to come up with.

After

At first application, it goes on smooth but then it drys flaky and foily. I may have applied too much to my eyelid. (as I said, I have no clue how to use this) As the day went on the cream flaked off into my eye so, in the parking lot of Sams Club ( I was running errands) I rubbed off the chunky off my eyes with a Kleenex and it felt a whole lot better.
Overall, I would like to try it out again to see if practice makes perfect. I can totally see why busy mom’s would like a cream shadow because it is quick and easy to apply. I’m not sure it’s for me but I would recommended it to avid cream eye shadow wearer to try.

Testimonial #1 - Pedicure Set

I have been asking several friends and clients to try out products for me in exchange for testimonials (whether they be good, bad or indifferent). I think this is a great way to show how others use and feel about my BeautiControl products. Here is the first of several to come over the next few weeks.

Some people are blessed with beautiful soft feet – I am not one of them!  I have always struggled with an excessive amount of dead and cracked skin on my heals and have tried many products over the years, but nothing really parallels to BeautiControl’s Pedicure Spa line.  I have tried many of Avon’s pedicure products and they were ok but really don’t compare!  I tried the products twice by giving myself a quick pedicure and then a more relaxing, longer pedicure including filing.  The first time I quickly sprayed the foot spray on after I got out of the shower and then sat on the end of the tub and scrubbed my feet and rinsed.  I put the detoxifying foot crème on and then socks.  The next day when I got out of the shower, my feet were still soft!  A few days later I filed the dead skin on my feet and let them soak in my foot tub.  I used the scrub and then finished with a nice foot/ankle/calf massage using the cooling foot salve ß This is my new fav!!  I really liked the cooling sensation on my ankles and calf’s!  These products are wonderful!  I would definitely recommend this line to a friend!
