Pamper Yourself Friday

Pamper Yourself Friday

I wanted to do something to remind myself and others to take care of OURSELVES on Fridays. If we don't take care of us then how can we take care of others? So to start things off with a bang I will introduce you to my MOST USED product in the household (right after my daily skincare).

This great product is used in the bath as a detox agent or to reduce/cure migraines and as a "special" washcloth to reduce sinus pressure. To use the bath pour a couple tablespoons into the tub as the water is running. Warm to Hot water helps this product work better. Get in and enjoy. To use for sinus pressure/problems. Wet down a washcloth with very warm water, ring out and pour about a teaspoon of the bath soak directly onto the cloth. Place on face, turning over the cloth occasionally.

A little bit about this versatile product - BeautiControl says
KEY BENEFITS:
• Kaolin and black silt from freshwater lakes in Eastern Europe help to pull toxins and impurities from the skin.
• Neutralize the free radicals that are attempting to enter your skin.
• Re-mineralize your skin to replace the nutrients it needs.
KEY INGREDIENTS
Sea buckthorn and sea kelp – detoxify and purify while providing skin with key nutrients.
Green tea extract – potent antioxidant that neutralizes free radical damage.
Copper, zinc and magnesium – energize and remineralize skin.

Do you use something special in your tub occasionally? What are you doing to treat yourself?

Testimonial Tuesday!

Testimonial Tuesday

What better way to share what I think about my products then demonstrate for you. Down the road I look forward to having guests weight in with thoughts and opinions as well.

A couple of weeks ago I attended the Green Gala for Girl Scouts. It was so much fun and had me doing something I don't normally do - really dress all out including hair and makeup. What do you think?

At the end of the night I have to admit I was exhausted (and my feet hurt). I couldn't wait to get home and climb into bed. As I stepped in the bedroom and longingly looked at my comforter I knew I had to at least wash my face first. No way was I going to put all the stuff on my face onto my pillow!

This gave me the idea to take pictures and share with you BeautiControl's Skinlogics® Lash Enhancing Eye Makeup Remover . I really like this product because it is so easy to get eye makeup off and not affect my sensitive skin or contacts. As you see below I like a more natural look with my makeup, but that doesn't mean it is easy to come off.

It's two easy steps. Pour a very tiny amount of the makeup remover onto a cotton pad. (Cotton balls are not the best to work with because they soak up the product but give you little space to rub on your face)

Rub over your eye makeup - mascara and all. Once down lightly splash your face with water. Done! See how it took all of my eye makeup off?

Now time for my question - Do you remember to take off your makeup at night to let your face breathe? Do you make sure to remove your mascara and liner as well? If you have questions feel free to comment or contact me!

Keep watch for new theme posts on this page!
